last October 27 - November 2, 2008, the SK Adventure across Land and Mountain (SALAM) [ambot tama ba ni nga acronym.. ahihi], some of the members of DTC joined their 4th Annual Clean Up Drive at the peak of Mt. Apo becuase of their invitation. This is their 4th clean up drive after their 3 successful clean up drive done in the said mountain. This project is thru the initiative of former SK federation president April Marie Dayap, other councilor of Davao City, Vice Mayor Inday Sarah Duterte and Mayor Duterte aiming to continue the passion of youth and children to clean our environment.
The trail is quite hard but the objective of the activity made us to continue the walk to the peak of Mt Apo.
DTC is challenged to continue this wonderful aim not to clean only the mountain peak but also to inspire other youth and children to take good care of our environment since our health, in general, needs a good air and venue for him/her to fully acquire an authentic development of one's physical and reproductive health lifestyle.
